Kenangan 2008

Baiklah, bulan Januari, kerja part time kat warung nak cari duit buat lesen sambil bekerja ada jg mengajar budak-budak PMR.Dapat lesen motorsikal.

Bulan Februari, terus lagi bekerja tapi kat warung lain pulak.

Bulan Jun,datang tawaran satu persatu.

Usahlah menjadi orang lain
Jadilah diri sendiri kerana ia
adalah yang terbaik untuk kita.

Uncontrolled Feeling...

Hye,today is the 2nd last day for the year 2008.My semester holiday also only left about 2 weeks. So,I need to prepare myself to enter the new semester.Listen to others story, they said new semester would be a little bit tough but nevermind,it's only the story of others.I need to learn eventhough it is tough, right?

Today,I am thinking about feeling.FEELING???We always heard people said "I like her/him,I like that scenery."It is feeling that come from our heart that cannot be control but we can control our reaction toward that feeling. For example,a man see a woman and feel like she is the one for him. Most all of us will feel like that but the main thing is how we want to control our action. If someone didn't think further, they may take the action to be near with the woman. So,think again before we take some action.

From feeling, comes to LOVE.Loves is deeper than feeling. We will love to be with other. All people want they being love and lover. That is natural but don't take the action that will made us being embrassed to the public and don't make something that against from our Islamic teaching for Muslim and also to others religion.

The main thing here is we have to control what ever action that we want to take.Think wisely before doing anything.Do not take any action before think further about the effect which we will get...

Headache(Science Fact)

Definition

A headache is pain or discomfort in the head, scalp, or neck. Serious causes of headaches are extremely rare. Most people with headaches can feel much better by making lifestyle changes, learning ways to relax, and occasionally by taking medications.

The types of headache:
  • Tension headache
  • Cluster headache
  • Migraine with aura
  • Migraine without aura
Causes
The most common headaches are probably caused by tight, contracted muscles in your shoulders, neck, scalp, and jaw. These are called tension headaches. They are often related to stress, depression, or anxiety. Overworking, not getting enough sleep, missing meals, and using alcohol or street drugs can make you more susceptible to them. Headaches can be triggered by chocolate, cheese, and monosodium glutamate (MSG). People who drink caffeine can have headaches when they don't get their usual daily amount.
Other common causes include:

  • Holding your head in one position for a long time, like at a computer, microscope, or typewriter
  • Poor sleep position
  • Overexerting yourself
  • Clenching or grinding your teeth
  • may occur if you have a cold, the flu, fever, or premenstrual syndrome
Rare causes of headache include:

  • Brain aneurysm -- a weakening of the wall of a blood vessel that can rupture and bleed into the brain
  • Brain tumor
  • Stroke or TIA
  • Brain infection like meningitis or encephalitis
Tension headaches tend to be on both sides of your head. They often start at the back of your head and spread forward. The pain may feel dull or squeezing, like a tight band or vice. Your shoulders, neck, or jaw may feel tight and sore. The pain is usually persistent, but does not get worse with activity.

Migraine headaches are severe headaches that usually occur with other symptoms such as visual disturbances or nausea. The pain may be described as throbbing, pounding, or pulsating. It tends to begin on one side of your head, although it may spread to both sides. You may have an "aura" (a group of warning symptoms that start before your headache). The pain usually gets worse as you try to move around.

Cluster headaches are sharp, extremely painful headaches that tend to occur several times per day for months and then go away for a similar period. They are far less common.

Sinus headaches cause pain in the front of your head and face. They are due to inflammation in the sinus passages that lie behind the cheeks, nose, and eyes. The pain tends to be worse when you bend forward and when you first wake up in the morning. Postnasal drip, sore throat, and nasal discharge usually occur with these headaches.
If you are over age 50 and are experiencing headaches for the first time, a condition called temporal arteritis may prove to be the cause. Symptoms of this condition include impaired vision and pain aggravated by chewing. There is a risk of becoming blind with this condition. Therefore, it must be treated by your doctor right away.

Prevention

The following healthy habits can lessen stress and reduce your chance of getting headaches:
  • Getting adequate sleep
  • Eating a healthy diet
  • Exercising regularly
  • Stretching your neck and upper body, especially if your work involves typing or using a computer
  • Learning proper posture
  • Quitting smoking
  • Learning to relax using meditation, deep breathing, yoga, or other techniques
  • Wearing proper eyeglasses, if needed
When to Contact a Medical Professional

Take the following symptoms seriously. If you cannot see your health care provider immediately, go to the emergency room.
  • This is the first headache you have every had in your life and it interferes with your daily activities
  • Your headache comes on suddenly and is explosive or violent
  • You would describe your headache as "your worst ever", even if you are prone to headaches
  • Your headache is associated with slurred speech, change in vision, problems moving your arms or legs, loss of balance, confusion, or memory loss
  • Your headache gets progressively worse over a 24-hour period
  • Your headache is accompanied by fever, stiff neck, nausea, and vomiting
  • Your headache occurs with a head injury
  • Your headache is severe and localized to one eye with redness in that eye
  • You are over age 50 and your headaches just began, especially with impaired vision and pain while chewing
See your provider soon if:

  • Your headaches wake you up from sleep
  • A headache lasts more than a few days
  • Headaches are worse in the morning
  • You have a history of headaches but they have changed in pattern or intensity
  • You have headaches frequently, and there is no known cause

Cabaran Hidup

Sementara menunggu komputer siap dibaiki, saya ergi menonton wayang.Tonton cerita baru keluar. The Day The Earth Stood Still.Cerita ni jenis Sci-Fi.Memang jenis kesukaan saya.Jadi, setelah menonton sampai habis saya pergi main boling seorang diri.

Kekurangan

Olla to all...On last monday is the last day for the final exam and now I am in hibernate mode...hehehe...you know what I mean right???The holiday is coming but I don't feel like want to holiday. The journey back home is to tired that's why I don't feel like want to have holiday.

Start from UTP,in the morning wake up late because on the night before I hang out with friends till 4 o'clocks in the morning.I follow my friend to the Penang before take bus to Alor Setar and then find the taxi to the hetty.Fuuh...so tired and I fall asleep in the ferry but Only on the half of the journey about one hour coz the out there is heavy rain. The ferry was like to turn upside down.

And now,I was at home and don't know what to do.It is too boring if I always sleep, eat, and sleep again.I think want to do part time work but I will think about it first. If not I will study the subjects for next semester to avoid boring.

It come to last!!!!

After struggle for a week on study week(last week), this week come the challenge for this semester which is FINAL EXAM....For your information, exam has been done half way and now come for the last paper for this semester which is Thinking Skill.Seems like wierd.I,first think 'what for we learn this subject' .I think we already get the skill and don't need to learn it.All pesimis thinking come and make me take  for granted on this subjects. But now come to the final,It become hard if I don't know the skill of thinking.

For other subjects,I have gone through it well.It is true if we start prepare early,it won't be hard for the final. If we consistent in study, we will have the good and relax day on examination weeks.Even though I think I play a lot this semester but it seem to be a very great experience as preparation for the future.

I have done something that I never done before this which is study last minute until late night...huhuhu...is it a bad habit????For me yes because it show that I not well motivated and lack of self-discipline and also have no management in what I am doing. So,you all think wisely and make something that can make our life meaningful and systematic on what ever condition or time.

Hopefully all the experience that I got in be first time far from my hometown and family.I hope I do my best for this last paper so that I can go holiday happily...hehehe....

Till next time...I will post a lot more about my experience and also picture....So,see you next time on my blog.......
Remember that the time passed by  don't let it go without meaning...

Exhausted week???

Today start my second week of my study in UTP.I think it will be busier week than last week because the lab and tutorial classes has start this week.Hopefully,I will be active and energertic all the time for the whole day and whole week.Tommorrow will be the busiest day in every week because my class will start at 10a.m and end at 4p.m.I did not have time for rest on that time.I have to move from one block to another. Its so far between each blocks.

For my course,I got 2 foreign lecturers which are from Sudan and I already forgot the other one.hehehe...I have to be more focus in their classes in order to get and understand what they trying to say because they speak english in different dialect. The other lecturers in from local. They are very pleasent and very friendly with students.

Here of course not same as UIA or other universities that located in town.UTP is located in the area that can say a rural area.Very far from Ipoh and other place.Because of that I can save my money and use it wisely because I cannot go anywhere.Maybe one day I will rent a car and go outside, maybe to Ipoh,Tambun or Lumut to enjoy and explore Perak.

Saturday, July 26, 2008

Today is the last day for the study day but I don't have any class today.hehehe.So,I settle up all my stuff and go out, walk around the campus and have talk with all my new friends.Actually,I really missed my old friends in former school especially the Urayville members.Hope they having a good day everyday.

This week is not very exhausted week because I only have lectures for the whole week. The tutorials and lab not start yet.It will be start in week 2 or 3.Maybe next week I will not busy yet.But in the first class for islamic study,we have got an projectwork to be done and hav to submit in 29 August. So,that is the first task that I have to do.My group have selected to do some research about economic.Hopefully,we can finish it on time.

All the first lectures, the lecturers tell about the objective and the outcome of every subjects. That are important because we need to get the outcome in the end of the semester. So,in the first study week, all lecture have finished chapter 1 for most of the topics.Study here I need to be prepare all the time if I don't want to blank in the lecture.I have to take 6 subject which are English,Islamic study, engineering mathemathic, physics, chemistry and thinking skill. The co-curricular activity will also consider in the pointer for our batch. So,we have to complete it succesfully in order to get high pointer.

Lastly, the thing that cannot avoid is homesick.hehe.but not me.Some of my friends have it.I only miss my family and life at home.but still can control it because there are many mission that are not completed yet. So,I will struggle in this 5 years study to get graduated with the first class degree and will try to change my convertable loan into scholarship and I will get the jobs.God willing...
there is always the time for changes,
don't waste it and don't wait until last minute.

Be Yourself....

The word 'be yourself',I always used it when having conversation with anybody. This is the important thing in ourselves to know who we are?what can we do?how we can give benefit to others? We should discover ourselves first to improve anything else around us.If we can't change our behavior, nothing can we do to change others.Be yourself is the ancient word from Socrates.

This word had been known since before century. It is the main thing in the philosophy and also the way to improve ourselves.Knowing ourselves is not only see physically but it is more important to look what is actually have in our heart. We cannot show it when we are conscious when doing something. We only can see it in the emergency situation or desperate situation. It come spontaneously.Sometime,we didn't know what we are doing but it come from our heart. We also can see which are our true friends by travel with him/her in three days at least. The true characteristic will be shown within these three day.

So,to make anything happen in in what we are expecting,we have to know ourselves first, then, with it we can use what we have to produce the great work or a great result. The important thing that we should have are to be ourselves.not others in our life...

Persedian pun berjalan sementara menunggu surat smp.Surat nak smp pun kena tunggu sebulan.hehehe...Bila dh dpt surat mula la aktiviti menphotostat apa yg ptt dan membeli apa yg berkenaan.Penat juga bt keje ni.Nak isi borg la,byr yuran la,mcm2 kena bt dan yang paling bosan nak bt pemeriksaan kesihatan.Lama bukan main nak menunggunya.Hampir 3 jam juga nak siap 2 tp blood test x siap lg resultnya.

Dalam keadaan penat aku bertungkus-lumus nak menyiapkan apa yg diperlukan, baru je blk dr menyiapkan keje terakhir utk selesaikan sume borg iaitu mengesahkan sijil aku dpt berita yang x disangka-sangka.Bdk yg dpt IB pun dah nak msk KMS dh.Nasib baik aku A-level.Masuk lewat sikit.Beritanya aku dpt program SPC MARA-UTP.Aduh,aku ingat dh x payah pikir psl pilihan ni.Rupanya kena juga pilih di saat-saat aku hampir pergi mendaftar di KMS.

Jadi aku pikir la punya pikir.Minta pendapat sume org yg aku kenal. So,skrg persediaan bermula semula.Harap2 semua berjalan lancar.

Think about benefits

Everythings that have we done have their own benefit and weakness. But many people tend to think about the badness of the activities that have been done. That is the reality in human soul.We always tend to think negatively before doing something. For example, when our friends want to study hard to improve his achievement, others must think he change because of something, maybe girlfriend or his father has promise to him somethings that he really wanted.

The things here is when we think like that, there will never have any improvement because one who want to make a changes did not get support to change. So,one who is bad tend to be an evil and one who is excellent will be there without improvement. Why we don't want others to improve themselves?Maybe because we don't want others to be more excellent then us?Or there is other reason for that?

When we always communicate with others,a lot of things we can get.If someone are sad, when they talk to others they will relive. If someone are hopeless, they can get some advise when talk to others. Not only that,we can improve our communication skill,be polite, and one thing that others didn't notice is we can know the others behavior or characteristic. The characteristics are store deep in our heart. It come out spontaneously when we interact with others.Who are care about this thing they will try to see it before keep talking to others.

So,try to have the got perception when talk with others. It will shows our character. Not the fake one but the real one. So,don't think when you try to make yourself to be others. You can cheat others. So,the lesson is better we try to be honest than change to be others.

The key of success

Many people today always want to do their best in whatever things they done but not all the things will goes in the good way.To do anythings we have to know our destiny and also believe in ourself. If not we not gonna get what had we planned.Motivation is not the only key of success but it is one of the key of success.

Motivation is the things that made us realize what is our advantage and feebleness. This is important for us to go through our life cheerful and make us dauntless if we fail to get what we want. For example if we planned to get straight A's in every exam that we have, maybe we cannot get it in the short period but the effort to fulfill the target is there. So,if we have high motivation in ourself,we will not give up earlier and will try to achieved the target.

This things we have pass through many time but we did not realize about it.Motivation is inside ourself only us did not know about it and if did not try to understand about motivation,we will never get it or improve it.So,if you fell sad or loss hope, try take some time and think about yourself and remember, don't compare yourself with others because we all have our advantage to be benefit to the community.

I give the simple example, try watch the animation film Kung Fu Panda. It give a lot of lesson to us especially student.Other did not confident with the Panda but Panda try to prove to other and try to get the Dragon Scroll. In the Dragon Scroll is only a fabric that can reflect like a mirror. It shows that the key to success is ourself. All are bury in deep of our heart.Only us can dig it to get it.So,believe in yourself in what we all doing because ourself are the key of success.

Cancer

Today I found new interest topics when I watch the TV.It's about cancer. The solution to cure cancer. Is it interesting to you? Some scientists around the world have found that Vitamin B17 can be the solution to cure cancer.

First of all,let us know about what is cancer?

Cancer is a term used for diseases in which abnormal cells divide without control and are able to invade other tissues. Cancer cells can spread to other parts of the body through the blood and lymph systems.

Cancer is not just one disease but many diseases. There are more than 100 different types of cancer. Most cancers are named for the organ or type of cell in which they start - for example, cancer that begins in the colon is called colon cancer; cancer that begins in basal cells of the skin is called basal cell carcinoma.

Cancer types can be grouped into broader categories. The main categories of cancer include:

  • Carcinoma - cancer that begins in the skin or in tissues that line or cover internal organs.
  • Sarcoma - cancer that begins in bone, cartilage, fat, muscle, blood vessels, or other connective or supportive tissue.
  • Leukemia - cancer that starts in blood-forming tissue such as the bone marrow and causes large numbers of abnormal blood cells to be produced and enter the blood.
  • Lymphoma and myeloma - cancers that begin in the cells of the immune system
  • Central nervous system cancers - cancers that begin in the tissues of the brain and spinal cord.
We can see that there are many type of cancer and the latest solution today are using chemotherapy and radiation to remove the cancer cells but it is not the best solution because they can damage the healthy cells which is near to the treatment area. So,if the solution by using laetrile(amygdelin or vitamin B17) can be prove scientifically to cure the cancer and the new procedure in using it is develop, this may give high chance to the cancer patient to have the healthy life.

Think about the future

When I look the weather today,I think there are so many changes to the weather. These come from one main cause which is global warming.I am a student cannot do the drastic action because lack of money and other equipments but by having an idea to solve the problem,at least,I can help the expert to get some solution to solve the problem.

Maybe today teenagers did not think a l0t about this problem. How it be?What is the causes n else.Actually, this problem cannot been solve by teenagers because we did not have the equipment. For teenagers,we should think about this thing for our future. If not we have to struggle in the future to find the solution.

So,we can take some initiative to control this phenomena in the house and school. For example,do recycle, reuse and reduce. We can control the production of the waste dump into the landfill.Other,we can plant a lot of plant. For the driver, use the vehicle wisely.Be a smart driver. We can reduce the quatity of fuel that we use everyday.

Finally, think smart, think enveronment. We not only save the environment but we can save our money.

Environment is for us to preserve it,not to destroy it.Having relation with nature can give us motivation.

Earth Day 2008

Yesterday is the EARTH DAY in the world. The objectives of the earth day are to give the knowledge to the people on how to conserve and preserve the world, how to control global warming and to make the people realize that we will be in disasters if we not control the pollution.

We have to realize that if there is the human, there will have that pollution. We can do is try to reduce the percentage of pollution that we make in this world. We cannot hundred percent stop the pollution but we can control it.So that, that pollution that we made still can be control.Everybody can contribute in this effort to make sure our world is clean.

Many energy wasted started at home.In the kitchen, refrigerator can give use a lot of energy wasted and can increase our electric bills. The first thing we have to do is don't put the refrigerator close to the wall.Make some space between the wall and refrigerator to allow the heat from refrigerator can move and set the temperature that suitable for storing the food.

Besides,we can used the compact fluorescent light bulbs(CFL) that can save about 90% of the energy of the commen bulb that we use now.By using CFL,we can save the electrics and also save our money beside reduce the pollution to the nature.Individual can reduce the quantity of water used per house by reducing the time to take bath. The shower that we use also have to change to the shower that used less water.

So,when somebody said this world is hot.Think again what have we done to the world and what have we done to control the global warming.Actully, everybody can contribute thier effort to control the global warming and pollution.Try to find the way and help everybody to save the nature....

Global Warming:How You Can Help...

How you can help

1. Save lives and the planet by not eating meat

The 2006 United Nations report, Livestock’s Long Shadow, documents the livestock industry’s 18% contribution to global warming, which is more than the warming effect of all transportation throughout the world.

A 2007 report from the Earth Institute affirms that a plant-based diet consumes only 25% of a meat-based diet. And changing from a meat-based to a vegetarian diet is at least 50% more effective in counteracting climate change as switching from a Suburban SUV to a Toyota hybrid car.

“Please eat less meat ? meat is a very carbon intensive commodity. Don't eat meat, ride a bike, and be a frugal shopper ? that's how you can help brake global warming.” - Rajendra Pachauri, Chief of the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change

International environmental organization EarthSave features VEGPLEDGE!TM at www.vegpledge.com, a program dedicated to helping anyone who wants to benefit the planet with a Go Veg! pledge.

Research by University of Chicago geophysics professors Gordan Eishel Gidon Eshel and Pamela Martin concludes that going vegan for one year saves 1.5 tons of emissions relative to the standard American diet, 50% more than switching from an SUV to a Toyota Prius.

New York Times article written by Mark Bittman, a non-vegetarian, explains the detrimental cost of meat consumption to our planet, our health, and to the poor.

If each person in the Netherlands goes meat-free one day per week, the lowered emissions would equal the Dutch government’s goals for emission reductions for all households for one year.

A vegetarian driving a Hummer SUV is more environmentally friendly than a meat-eater on a bicycle.

In South America, where 400 million hectares of soya crops are fed to animals for human consumption, only 25 million hectares would be needed be needed to directly feed all the humans in the world.

2. Recycling does make a difference
California estimates that state-wide recycling saves energy to power 1.4 million homes, reduces 27,047 tons of water pollution, saves 14 million trees and reduces greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to 3.8 million cars.

The Technical University of Denmark found that recycled aluminum uses 95% less energy than non-recycled aluminum, 70% less energy for plastics, and 40% less for paper.

3. Planting trees benefits our Earth

Two years after planting hardwood saplings in the wettest areas of Catahoula Parish, Louisiana Tech University scientists find each acre of reforested land sequesters sufficient carbon to offset driving a car for a year.

A US Forest Service Study showed that planting 95,000 trees in two counties in metropolitan Chicago provides cleaner air and will saves $38 million over 30 years due to lower heating and cooling costs.

4. Reduce carbon emissions with alternative energy transportation
A University of Chicago study indicates that driving a Toyota Prius electric-gas hybrid car will save 1 ton of emissions per year.

Locally-grown food is deemed to have a lower carbon footprint, as demonstrated by an 2003 Iowa State University study, which found non-local food had traveled an average of 1,494 miles, versus 56 miles for local food.
“I try to save energy by using my bicycle to travel to work as often as I can.” - Margot Wallstrom, Vice-President of the European Commission

5. Energy efficiency and renewable energy can help renew our Earth

The American Council for Energy Efficient Economy recommends actions to reduce energy usage such as
turning off equipment when not in use.
installing Energy Star-rated appliances and programmable thermostats
insulating hot water pipes and using energy efficient bulbs.
Install solar panels as an alternative energy source.

Global Warming:Time to Act

Reminder of a major global warming cause:

In 2006, the United Nations reported that raising animals for food generates more greenhouse gases than all the cars and trucks in the world combined.

Senior UN Food and Agriculture Organization official Henning Steinfeld reported that the meat industry is "one of the most significant contributors to today's most serious environmental problems."

WARNING SIGNS

The Antarctic has been found to experience ice melts as dramatic as the Arctic in this past summer.

After he visited Antarctica's melting ice sheets in January 2008, Norway's Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg stated, "Alarm bells are ringing. It is irresponsible for decision-makers to ignore these signals."

Findings from a study by Hans von Storch, head of the GKSS Institute for Coastal Research in Germany, indicate an unusually high warming trend in the Baltic Sea due to climate change.

The world's largest society of Earth and space scientists, the American Geophysical Union (AGU), has released a statement that identifies human activity as the sure cause of global warming.

Scientists are finding that forests and seas are reaching overload, unable to absorb more emissions, which means even more rapid temperature rises.
With global temperatures up 1.4 degrees and still rising, John Holdren, a Harvard University policy scientist, said that a total increase of 3.6 -4.5 degrees would present the danger of the world facing "intolerable and unmanageable impacts of climate change."

In 20-year study conducted by the University of Helsinki, progressively shorter winters are now weakening the ability of northern forests to soak up greenhouse gas emissions.

Lead researcher Timo Vesala commented, "This means a bigger warming effect."

Global warming makes China's glaciers shrink by 7% every year, which could have devastating effects on the 300 million who depend on them for water.
Ponds in the Arctic that have been part of the landscape for 6,000 years have dried up with the lengthening of the Arctic summer.

Rising sea levels and bigger storms caused by global warming at Ireland's UNESCO World Heritage site may wash some of the great columns away.
Meteorologists at Norway's Troll research station in Antarctica say that atmospheric carbon has reached record levels.

The effects of global warming on the sea's temperatures have lead to the occurrence of "dead zones" in the ocean.

British geologists at the University of Leicester say that the changes to the environment due to increased human population and industrialization are so great that the planet's pre-industrial Holocene era is now over and it has entered a new age called the Anthropocene era.

NATURAL DISASTERS

A United Nations report on 2007's natural disasters says nine of the ten worst resulted from climatic disturbances.

SINKING LANDS, EROSION & SEA LEVELS RISING

Australian oceanographer Steve Rintoul estimates that the rapid rate of ice melting means that 100 million people living within 1 meter of sea level "will need to go somewhere" to escape rising sea levels.

Officials relocated 20,000 islanders in the year 2000 from the lowest area of Duke of York Island, one of the islands off Papua New Guinea.

India's Lohachara Island disappeared under water due to global warming leaving 70,000 people to take refuge on neighboring islands.

The coastline in West African countries like Benin, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Guinea, and Nigeria is retreating at an average of 10 meters per year, and sea water levels on the West African coast could continue to rise.

According to Richard Lochhead, Secretary of Rural Affairs in the United Kingdom, "Our winters are getting wetter and warmer, sea levels are rising and coastal erosion is increasing.
These are happening now and we must take action."

Scientists warn that if water levels continue to rise, over 80,000 hectares in Greece could be 1.6 meters under water by 2100, with the country's western coastline also at risk.

The Maldives could be the first country to become uninhabitable because of rising sea levels due to global warming.

Rising sea levels threaten beachfront towns along the coast of North Carolina, USA, say geologists.

Scientists measuring rising sea levels say that the island state of Tuvalu will be one of the first nations to sink into the ocean.

Some areas of Vietnam southernmost province, Cà Mau, show evidence of up to 6 meters of land covered up by the sea.

Benin is slowly losing its commercial capital, Cotonou, to the rising ocean waters.

Carteret Islanders consider leaving their home as rising sea levels damage food crops and leaves the island uninhabitable.

Environmental Coastal Regions published by the Wessex Institute of Technology reports risk assessment of coastal land use due to the rising water level of the Caspian Sea.

US Geological Survey shows that Alaska's coast is eroding at a faster rate as coastal cliffs are collapsing due to global warming's melting of the permafrost which anchors the earth.

Residents from Papua New Guinea islands, at risk for submersion due to global warming, asked for help at last year's climate change conference in Bali, Indonesia.

TOXIC GASES A report first published in 2005 describes how poisonous gas bubbling up from the deep ocean could have suddenly caused the loss of the ozone layer 250 million years ago.

The UN Environmental Program reports the emergence of over 200 oxygen-depleted "dead zones" in the ocean.

New bacteria emerge, producing hydrogen sulfide gas, which is lethal to most marine and terrestrial life.

The two known causes include run-off from factories, agricultural fertilizer and waste, as well as disrupted water currents and weather, all of which are related to global warming.

"Dead zones" in the ocean caused by global warming result in no life due to a loss of oxygen and the release of hydrogen sulfide, a toxic gas.

One such dead zone is in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Oregon, USA, which has quadrupled in size over the past year. Another is off the coast of Namibia, Africa, where millions of fish die whenever the hydrogen sulfide gas erupts from the ocean floor.

Due to overfishing and the loss of tens of millions of vital sardines, waters off the coast of southwest Africa are filled with a toxic gas that is bubbling up from the ocean floor, to date killing marine life over an area equivalent to the US state of New Jersey and worsening the greenhouse effect.

HUMAN HEALTH

United Nations Secretary-General Ban urges world leaders to prioritize water security, saying that climate change and related water scarcity has caused discord in the past.

Dr. Hugh Montgomery, Director of the Institute for Human Health and Performance at London's University College states,"We are already witnessing the effects of climate change on health."

An Australian scientist, Professor Kevin Parton of Charles Sturt University in New South Wales, Australia, has stated that conditions caused by global warming such as mosquito-borne diseases may have much more impact on indigenous people due to their insufficient access to health services.

British scientists express concern about the detrimental effects of climate change on human health such as heat waves, wild fires and floods.

Australian researcher Dr. Tony McMichael reports in the British Medical Journal, "Infectious diseases cannot be stabilized in circumstances of climatic instability, refugee flows, and impoverishment."

SPECIES EXTINCTION

In the Arctic, polar bears are starving due to the warming change in habitat.
Kassie Siegel of the Center for Biological Diversity, said, "We've observed massive melting of the sea ice in the Arctic in recent years, and they can't survive without it."

A quarter of US birds are facing extinction due to global warming, and 75% of European birds are expected to see their ranges shrink.

Scientists say that if global warming continues at its current pace, at least 20% of the world's species are likely to become extinct.

What world leaders are saying:
"The good news is, we have everything we need now to respond to the challenge of global warming. But we should not wait, we cannot wait, we must not wait."
Al Gore, 45th Vice President of the United States

"We know the science, we see the threat, and we know the time for action is now."
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger,R-California, USA

"I think the science is clear that these changes are occurring. They're serious and we must act."
Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada

"We need to expand the concept of sustainable development to all the aspects of social and economic development of society."
Chi-Beom Lee, Minister of Environment, Republic of Korea

"We are on the historic threshold of the irreversible. A new industrial revolution, that of sustainable development, lies before us."
Jacques Chirac, Former President of France

"Australia's official declaration today that we will become a member of the Kyoto Protocol is a significant step forward in our country's efforts to fight climate change domestically - and with the international community."
Kevin Rudd, Prime Minister of Australia

Saying that climate change and water scarcity has been the source of discord in the past, the secretary general stated, "There is still enough water for all of us - but only so long as we can keep it clean, use it more wisely, and share it fairly."
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon

"We are now beyond a critical turning point in the debate; those who continue to ignore the threat and its causes, or invoke half-baked arguments to confuse and obstruct, will be doing the greatest disservice imaginable to current and future generations. "
Marthinus Van Schalkwyk, South Africa's Environment Minister

How To Control Global Warming

There is solution, only three steps, no? VEGETARIAN, SUSTAINABLE ENERGY, PLANT TREES. How more simple, can it be?

If the government and the media jump in and help and spread all this and say, "It's really urgent, and everybody must do it," then we still have time. Two years. Okay, it's short, but we have time to keep the planet as is. As is. Not as good as before, but as is. And not worse.

They ban cigarettes and it's banned. And they banned drugs, and it's banned. It's not legal. Yeah, and the cigarette reduction now reduce a lot of illness everywhere in the world. People know that. The same with the climate change policy. If they just do what they know is good, then it's very quick. In no time we will recover, or we stop the effect. Because if we don't raise any more cattle or animals, then the Earth will be more sustainable. No more greenhouse gas or methane gas from the animals. No more multiplying all the time. Whatever we have already, we keep it. And no more, raising for profit and meat. Then the Earth will recover.

This is the only important thing right now. First you have to survive and then you can do anything else you want, but if you don’t survive, you don’t have the planet, what's the use? Unless they want to kill their children. If that’s what they decided, what are we going to do?

You see, the gasses are fuming from the ocean and from the land that's been defrosting. It's fuming everywhere. It's just that at the moment, it's not so intense. And then you probably have a headache when you pass by some place, you don't know why suddenly the headache come, and you don't know suddenly your heart hurt, burned. You don’t know why today your liver is no good, and then you take medicine and you forget about it. But it'll be more and more intense if we don't do something. It started long time already. It's just not intensive enough yet, you know, the density. The gas amount is not yet so lethal. Okay, it is lethal to some people in some area where it's more direct, nearby. But most people, they live far away, a little effected or not yet effected. Or very little effect, then they just blame it, "Okay, I ate something bad yesterday, or maybe I drank too much alcohol." And blame it on drinking or food or bad mood, or maybe old age or whatever, don't know that.

Alam kita...

Hari ni aku keluar meronda2 setelah bosan berada di rumah.Kebetulan ibuku ingin ke Pekan Kuah.Untuk menghilangkan kebosananku aku ikut la sekali.Hilang jg boring klu keluar meronda2.Tp hari ni cuaca x begitu baik.

MARILAH SAMA2 MENGURANGKAN PEMANASAN GLOBAL.....

Pelbagai Ragam

Assalamualaikum...
Bercerita memang sesuatu yang menyeronokkan.Mendengar cerita orang lain lagi menyeronokkan.Pelbagai suka dan duka dapat kita tahu.Itulah ragam kehidupan.

p/s:sebarang kemusykilan janganlah dipendam, jika ingin dibantu sudi-sudilah beritahu.Klu blh dibantu akan diusahakan.

The Next Stage!!!

SPM 2007 result have been announce 3 days ago but I think maybe some of the candidates feel upset when get their results and maybe until now the can accept what the have got.Only one thing that I can say,SPM is the beginning of the journey to our future career.

I know maybe somebody have plan many thing but when the result is out, they can't accept it because they expect higher then what they can achieve. Now,the SPM result is out. So,we have to accept whatever grade we get.We have to think for our future. If we did not achieve what have been targeted,we have to check again what are the ability that we have based on the result.Don't blame ourselves to not get excellent but think positive.Be optimistic person.Try to search our own ability.Don't make others change ourselves.Be yourself.

Think like a farmer. They start with very high cost and expenditure but they can't expect all the plant will grow but they try.Same like us,we don't know what is our ability but we have to try.Give ourselves space to find the ability that we have.If we don't give the chance,we cannot know what we have.

So,now think again about our ability, habit and what we have.Don't lose hope when we cannot reach something that we expected.just keep trying and be optimistic. So that, we will always have new spirit to achieve what is been targeted everyday...

Kehidupan

Berkayuh Demi Matlamat

Ku berkayuh demi mencapai matlamat
Bermula dengan perlahan
Tetapi ku berusaha untuk ke hadapan
Dengan segala keringat yang ku punya.

Impian ingin berada di hadapan
kian menebal di hati
Dan ia semakin bertambah
Dengan segala usaha
Ku teruskan demi mencapai matlamat

Walau berasa tidak terdaya
Namun ku ingati matlamatku
dan prinsip diri ini
Untukku teruskan jua

Kini ku melangkah ke hadapan
Dan mencapai matlamatku
Kerana ia menjadi pembakar
Untukku terus bertahan
Sehingga impianku tercapai.

Realistik
